Big Mama, Tonga: The Pangaimotu Island Resort swept away

I am sad to read that the Big Mama beach bar on Tongatapu/Tonga appears to have been swept away.

We had a great time there a couple of years ago with our kids while waiting for the right weather window for crossing to New Zealand.

I very much hope Big Mama and her family will find ways to cope with this tremendous challenge.
I don't know how to do it exactly, but why not collect donations from the cruiser community for Pangaimotu Island?
