ISO best cheap water privileged community around Annapolis

I need to find a place to live, ideally within 20 miles of Crofton and where I can also dock or moor my Bristol 24 for less than $250000 or to rent for less than $1500. So far I've checked out Edgewater, Shady Side, and Churchton. Any suggestions?

Do you want to live aboard? If not, 12 miles from Crofton is Pasadena, there are a few marinas on Rock Creek that might work. Blake's Bar Harbor Marina is one I can recommend. If you are asking about buying a house with a dock for $250k, that's tough but they do show up on Stoney, Marley, and Furnace Creeks from time to time. They will need work at that price though. I just bought one at $205k, and know of another for around $225k, but they are all listed much higher.
