    Hi Mike.
I just want to say thanks for your attention and effort in helping a stranger. I needed a hard to find discontinued gypsy. You gave me a lead, then that lead failed you went out and took photos and send the product number. Well i sure do appreciate your effort in helping me. Bacon likely DID have that gypsy after all. Thanks for your persistence.

Thanks for helping my family and I restore this boat.

    Hi, fourlyons -
I saw you mention your slip in Anchorage Marina.
I very much liked staying in the marina last year, and hope to make return trips, as I keep my 32 foot sloop in Deltaville, but my son and extended family are in Baltimore City.
Do you mind, as a slip owner, telling me if you are satisfied with the management of the marina? Everyone there did a great job for me, and I was satisfied.
I have a friend who owns a slip and he is divesting other properties, and may be interested in selling his slip. If my wife can be sold on the idea, I may like to buy my friend's slip, and use it off season, renting during season.
    Can you offer any comments?
Love the picture of the boat - do you call that junk-rigged, or lugger?
Looks like a powerful sail plan...
    Keep Safe and Healthy,

We have built two sailboats and lived on them for various lengths of time. We built and launched the first sailboat in Seattle WA in 1993. We lived and traveled on her until 1997. We traveled in Mexico, through the Panama Canal, up to New England and back to Florida where we built our second and current boat. We launched our current boat in 2007 in Milwaukee (long story). We traveled for 2.5 years though the Heartland Rivers, Florida, East coast of the US, Canadian Maritimes. We are planning to travel more each summer. We are planning to travel more extensively soon.
