Cheap slip/dock in the Caribbean
Hi guys
I'm looking for a cheap marina in the Caribbean Sea (country doesn't matter as long it's secure) for my 42' ft mono. Ideal would be a private place. Any suggestions are very appreciated.

"Cheap" means a lot of different things to people. Can you be more specific, in either $/foot/month or some other way of measuring? I'd imagine people might be able to help you better then.

I'm interested also.
To me cheap is under $1000 a month, or $80 a day for a 40ft, but less than $40 a day, or $500 a month would be great.

I dont think I have seen mooring balls priced at that level. You might be able to go on the hard with prices you are thinking about. Please share if you find a marina with rates of $200 to $250 per month for a year

Re: Cheap slip/dock in the Caribbean
What is the going rate? I imagine it varies from place to place, but what is usual rate?

that's less than "cheap"
If I knew one of those anywhere I wouldn't be spreading the info around. Some things you need to keep to yourself.

Simpson Bay Marina in St Martin runs around $19/foot plus water and electricity.

Re: Cheap slip/dock in the Caribbean
Jolly Harbor, Antigua
Winter rates – Stern to
01 November – 31 May
Daily
$ 1.10 per ft. per day
Weekly
$ 0.95 per ft. per day
Monthly
$ 0.85 avg. per ft. per day
Quarterly
$ 0.75 avg. per ft. per day
That ciphers out to $945/month on a quarterly rate.

Thanks for clarification.
Marina del Rey in PR is similar or more.
I think we may haul in PR next summer vs Grenada.

Re: Cheap slip/dock in the Caribbean
Rio Dulce, Guatemala isn't too far off in cost. For a 36ft boat I paid $225 a month plus electric. Electricity is a bit expensive there.
