Lightning Strike Time To Upgrade

If your solar got fried but the panels were protected by a PWM conditioner that did fry, what would you upgrade into? I have really no concern with price if the quality is superior. I understand solar and I want options to eventually evolve into a comfortable and sustainable off grid level which means definite high efficiency low storage refrigerator, possible AC if my demands can be met, and necessary fans, lights, nav and tablet computer charging. I own a cat in the Carribian that has expansive room for solar panels so I need a controller that I may possibly have to oversize now to accept my final power demands. What Make/Brand should I investigate? PWM? MPPT?

Victron, wide range of solid MPPT models.

75/15 with say 40-60 volts' worth each, under $100.

Cheap enough to invest in lots of small controller/panel sets, to minimize partial shading issues.

Victron, Outback, Bluesky. Like John said multiple controllers works well on a boat to help desk with shading.
