unfortunately I can't watch the video at the mo but I do have a drone. I've had a phantom 3 pro for over a year now and it's gone everywhere with me. there's some sailing footage on my instagram if you're interested. We havn't raided the chandlery's yet, although doing some tomorrow here in Southampton before heading back to turkey.

We have however raided the Tefal store for electrical goods !. Along with their excellent pot/frypan sets with the removable handles, and of course, Ikea...

I just bought two Spinlock DeckVests with AIS. big fan of that model for all sorts of reasons. (Starting with right size for each person).


Looking at EPIRB, Satphone and portable VHF now...

Don't forget WIFI extender, and potentially 4G modem with high gain antenna. I just bought one, will be trying it out soon as I get back. (NOT a marine one !).

Still need to get a wifi extender tho. Maybe.

I got a Mifi 4g router and 50gb/month from vodafone. great deal from Voda at £30/month for all over europe and it works great so far.

Life jackets are Crew Saver, bought at the boat show for a very good price.
AIS mob bought separately. The SpinVest is very nice tho.

Regarding chandlers, I have to recommend Force 4, Bristol. They have been very helpful and as I am away at the moment, done everything over email for me.

it is a good deal, it's a monthly rolling contract (so can cancel anytime) and you can cap it at 50gb so there are no charges for going over.

the spares kits are available in Les Sables D'lonne. around 200 cats depart there every year so they are well equipped for delivery captains wanting spares kits.

I saw in another thread that you changed out the SD seacocks to plastic. Did you do this just to avoid corrosion and if so, would you recommend this is done before launch or at the next lift out?

I replaced the seacocks on my last boat which were seized but they were at least 4 years old.
