Is there any Lagoon to be introduced in the 46-47 size soon?

Hi, do anyone know if there is a 46, 47 or 48 foot Lagoon planned for release in the near future? Feels like Lagoon should fill this slot to compete with the new FP 47, and also would be nice to see something new in this size!

Any thoughts?

A comparison of physical size attributes between the lagoon 450 and the new FP would indicate that they are both very similar in size.

The 450 is 45'10". It would be great to see an update of the 450 to the newer 39, 42 & 52 feature but keep the current size.

Being curious: where did you get that from?

The 450S already got an upgraded exterior, the actual lineup seems pretty neat, I wonder what evolution they could add, without being redundant

I asked the question of two different lagoon dealers. They were both adamant that there was nothing new coming out in the next year, or so.
The competition are still playing catch up and the 450 is a best seller.
The 450 sport top has only just been released.
The design still has legs.

Mast further aft, self tacking jib, styling to match the hulls of the 42 and 52, flat cockpit floor, bigger windows, etc. I'm not saying these changes make a big difference I'm just saying what some of the changes could be.

Hmmm wait time for a 450 is six month and for a 42 18 months.
Either the 450 production line has more capacity or there is less demand for the 42. After seven years? I think people are expecting a totally new replacement for the 450.

Re: Is there any Lagoon to be introduced in the 46-47 size soon?

In my opinion, the 42 was a step backwards from the 421 in terms of accommodation and cruising storage. Sail area is also about the same as the 400.

Yes, the looks are keener, and I like the self tacking jib. If you fit the factory generator, you loose the second water tank leaving just 300l! A lot of the storage is open book racks. Built for the charter market and costal cruise but compromised for bluewater cruising

I think the 450 works on many levels for both charter and cruising so here's hoping anything new will cater for all.

BTW, the FP range typically uses numbers in the boats name that are 1 or 2 feet bigger than the actual boat sizes. They have done that for years.

True, but the generation upgrade may not spread across the entire range as we still have for an example
2nd gen 380
3rd gen 400S2
4th gen 39
So all in all pretty confusing, maybe a 450S2 (or 450L2?) is coming but it doesn't look like it needs an entire new boat

I think the 39 already incorporates Lagoons latest styling and elements like the self tacking jib and mast further aft. Same as the 42 and 52. Would seem reasonable that Lagoon would update these things accross the entire range.

The exception maybe the 380, this design seems to have a very loyal fan base.
