Re: Cuba to Bahamas to Canada

I am available beginning May 15th. Depending on getting more information on the boat and who will be aboard and what their sailing experiance is, I would be interested in the trip. Are you thinking nonstop? If not where do you plan to stop? See my experiance below:

Sailing Resume

College graduate, have sailed the Bahamas and Caribbean for the last 40 years on sail and powerboats, mostly sail. Have owned and sailed 32’ Down east sloop, 43’ Choy Lee motor sailor, 55’ Lagoon catamaran, 65’ Hatteras long-range cruiser, and a 16’ Hobie Cat. Am experienced in the Bahamas and most of the islands in the Caribbean, as far as the ABC islands. In my first life I was a freelance corporate pilot and wholesale liquor distributor. I can perform all sailing responsibilities including navigation, sail handling, standing watch, cooking, tending bar and being a good host. I’m PADI certified and I can fix minor mechanical problems, but I’m not an engineer. I require expenses only to and from the boat and while engaged. Available June 1, 2015 until whenever.

Re: Cuba to Bahamas to Canada

I am looking for someone who wants to do this as a recreational voyage and not as a paid voyage. Also looking at a single person and not a couple. Thanks anyway if you are in one of these catagories

I'm not sure whether you mean single or single? I'm a crew of one. Please let me know if you are interested and I can provide referances. It's approximately 2550 nautical miles Cuba to Maine, 2 weeks non stop. How many crew will be on board?

Sounds interesting. Going through a course to get my Swiss maritime license. Once I pass the test (scheduled in late April), I need to sail 1000M with licensed skipper. I'm also creating a videos series, this passage could part of it. Have a look at the YouTube channel.
