[SOLD] Steel Needed

I am looking for some steel plate 1/2 inch mild steel 8 pieces 18"x 24 " or any size larger . Must be priced good for me to pick up .

I have a fin keel sailboat and am building a hydraulic wheel lowering device and need the steel for this project.

Why steel? It has no place on a sailboat. Or is this on a trailer?

A local steel merchant will be able to supply. They will also cut to size for a price.

Steel is priced in small quantities by the pound. You only get discount prices for bulk orders. Think tonnes.

Ron, you don't state a location. I have and can get steel like you need, but bet being in Albany Ga., it won't help much

Actually I found the steel from a sailor here in Maine just miles from me . He saw the ad and contacted me directly . I am new and will fill in my details. Thanks .
