Unless you really want to get rid of the boat and are just using the girlfriend as an excuse. People usually do what they want to do regardless of what they say.

nan tai, build in taiwan.its a small shipyard there, if you see the inside of the boat, same wood and interiour as a vagabond.the boats are pretty strong build, as many from the 80's and it has a very strong solid hull. the boat is in very good conditions, the rigging was replaced by the previous owner and has a furling mansail, very easy to handle. people go around the world in much smaller boats, so- why not across the atlantik? if you get the right month to cross it is no big deal. i have a recent survey of the boat, if you or your friend is interested, just email me please under smalldiveshop@gmail.com and i can forward more infos. regards, torsten

That is SO true of a woman..
She will look at you differently for not making correct decisions in your life in the first place and she wont want that at all
Ive had 2 ex girlfreinds love the idea i live on a boat, It drives them crazy that its different.
But after 6 months and its i think its time you grew up and we sold the boat and we moved into a flat.
The first one i was like I dont think so you fell for me cause its part of my soul. And we argued about it for a while to the point i said no chance not after 6 months of knowing you.
The 2nd girl well it was just a oh NO not again- Get ya things and F off.
I guess with the attitude of i got you after the first one and ill get another,
Women love men on boats.
The 3rd one im with now is ok she loves it.
She also knows that the boat is me.
Not to mention that you sell the boat theres a void. your unhappy you subconciously get depressed and it flows over onto her and she is then depressed and unhappy it all then falls apart. Theres NO way id be selling my boat for a woman!
