OpenCPN Android not connecting to bluetooth NMEA bridge

Hi,
I run on an Xiaomi Mate 5 (Android11). If I connect to the Bluetooth.

1. Pairing on Android
2. OpenCPN 5.8.4 (official $10 version) connection and then Bluetooth SSP NMEA2000

Results: there is no incoming NMEA data stream.

If I use on the same device the "serial to bluetooth terminal" app I see the nmea2000 data arriving with no problem.

I cannot find any hint in the internet . I also have tried to get help through "opencpn@bigdumboat.com" -> no response so far.

I would be really thankful for a solution here.

What is the source of nmea2000 bluetooth stream? what device do you use to stream nmea2000 data to the tablet?
