opencpn

I have made a fresh install of lubuntu jamy on my Asus Laptop.
I get Opencpn 5.8.2,it's working well .
When I look at the plugin list I can't see
  • climatoly
  • weatherfax
  • weatherrouting
I try to download them and install manually but I get a message "incompatible plugin import detected"

What's wrong?

??

Plugins are installed by "Plugin manager" inside OCPN.
Options->Plugins. Click "Update catalog master" and then, scroll down, select and install desired plugin.

Re: opencpn

@vincenth

Can you please try a recent build of climatology? I don't know what your OS is so please give us this information too. Find the tarball for your OS and download it from here

https://cloudsmith.io/~opencpn/repos....5.5.2+tarball

Then use the Options > Plugins > Import Plugin button and select the file that you've downloaded. Then install the 1.5.5.2 version and enable it.

If you see a message that the plugin is incompatible, you have probably downloaded the wrong tarball. Please advise which tarball works and how the test went. Thanks.

Re: opencpn

Your system is 32 bits and the plugin is for 64 bits. Here all working well on several OS versions.

But with the okugins settings you can select a version. Here on my Debian Bullseye debian-arm64:12 on my RPI4.

Bram, thanks. We are trying to test the Bookworm builds (armhf, arm64 & x86_64) of climatology specifically. What versions are you using?

We want to make sure that these are loading properly and accepted by PIM!!!! Can you help us? Thanks.
