Re: New IAC Fleetcode Plugin for OpenCPN
Perfect !!!
PS For the record, the NOAA fleetcode chart is based on the latest UKMO (Braknell) weather chart
If I am not mistaken, the "multi-position trough pressure systems" are called thalwegs and are depicted as thin lines on the UKMO charts. This name is often used in French as well as it is shorter than creux barométrique.

A "multi-position trough pressure systems" is called a trough line. The word "thalweg" seems only to be used in hydrology in English, for some reason ...or other.

Re: New IAC Fleetcode Plugin for OpenCPN
Hello,
0.5 : Quick test.
- Download and install : Ok
- Run : Ok,
- Animation : Ok,
Crowdin : Updated.
Note : "Col (English) is translated by "Col (French). But I am not shure that it is the best translation.

Re: New IAC Fleetcode Plugin for OpenCPN
Boy is this plugin moving along! Paired with Weatherfax, Opencpn is going to really have weather covered! This one is very enticing because of the small file size and speed. ...Just what is needed sometimes with slow connections.
Weatherfax_pi is quite complete, and makes lots of weather products available via various communications. It uses files that tend to be a little larger. It too is a remarkable plugin.

Build 0.5 display of IAC_NOAA_A_2015-5-3_9-35 checks perfect with UKMO weatherchart at 06 UTC today (displayed with Weatherfax 1.3 plugin, from a manually set gif image)
Bloody weather on western Europe, BTW...

Re: New IAC Fleetcode Plugin for OpenCPN
Hi all...
Any bugs observed? If not, I'm going to release a stable version by the end of the week. Also if you want to contribute to the translations and still didn't, please do so by then at https://crowdin.net/project/opencpn
Thanks

Chris...
The Fiji one is NADI (Nadi is the city where the Fiji Meteorogical service is stationed)

Am experiencing some issues with loading the fleet code from Nadi. Normally use the PhysPlot which works fine. But am interested in having this data available in OpenCPN.
OpenCPN: version 4.0.0
Windows 8 Dell
Downloaded and installed the Fleet Code plugin this morning. Activated the plugin and see the icon on top of the screen.
Created a folder in my downloads called Fleetcode that I move the Nadi Fleet code from my inbox on Sailmail.
I clicked on the icon in OpenCPN and pointed it to the entry just placed in the Fleetcode folder.
Jumping back to the OpenCPN I see the barometric pressure lines but also see some long yellow lines. Using Physplot the data loads just fine.
Can you help me sort this out?
Thank You
Chuck
