Annotating tracks

Is there any way to add annotations/notes to tracks?
For example if I want to keep some notes about a recent voyage attached to the track is there any way to do that?

Yes, of course. Use the features of the waypoints along the track. If you have no waypoints attach some to your track.

There is the 'Advanced' tab of the tracks properties window. You could put your notes in there. Since tracks have track legs, not waypoints, you can't actually put individual comments with each leg. I typically just write my notes in the Advanced tab and reference date/times, and leg number.

You can convert tracks to routes. Then there are a lot of annotations you can make both to the route and each waypoint.
