ZeeHag ,Bubba and Solitary Bird, vs. Hurricane Patricia

It's been a scary past 4 days waiting for and then dealing with the Cat.5 Hurricane that hit Barra de Navidad, where our old friend has been docked for about 3 years now.
The good news is she, Bubba Daboatkat and Zee's Formosa 41 made it through with very little damage to the boat, Zee and Bubba.
I know she will share it all as soon as she can..
But wanted ya'll to know, she is fine !
Hup, Hup, Huzzah !

Great to hear all is well. Now that it's over it should make for some wild stories.

Also happy to hear you weathered the storm - for real. I am also happy a friend of mine who had his boat on the hard at Opequimar in PV while he had to be in the US this summer, says his Tayana made it OK. Feel bad for the locals near where it made landfall. I have spent many times in Chamela and Tenacatita and La Manzanilla. It will be rebuild and clean up time for them, but no fatalities reported. Must have been scary as hell though.

Great news. The storm looked like hell then nearly dissolved as it got close in.

Is this because of any mountains there, etc?

Re: ZeeHag ,Bubba and Solitary Bird, vs. Hurricane Patricia

I pulled this off facebook. One of her friends made it, and Zee liked it. So, I figgered I'd share it with all of you!
I think Zeehag is the only one here who knows my real name....but she has no idea who I am on CF.....Maybe she does now,,,,,
