I studiously read everything before I post 12 48.00%

This one is easy, it's thong. Sisqo was right all along.

Re: Do you read the whole thread?

I only read the threads that interest me or that I feel that I can contribute to. Once in a thread, I do a scan but I'm certainly not critically reading each and every one.

I don't think repetition of comments is necessarily a bad thing. I find that each post usually contributes a slightly different viewpoint and if there are enough with the same opinion, I can assume that there is something worth considering with the solution offered.

What I find annoying are the posts that feel the need to make their point at the expense of others.

Re: Do you read the whole thread?

2 pages or less I will read it.
An argument between two egos with scientific formulae and 1000 words on one side and 'but this just works" on the other side usually starts by then or shortly after. So I just post.

Re: Do you read the whole thread?

I usually try to read to the end so as not to be repetitive and restate something already said....like I'm doing now.

I haven’t read through all the posts on this whole thread, but yes I always read every post before replying. Has anyone said that yet?

Re: Do you read the whole thread?

Is that a little 'journalistic ennui' peeking around the poll's most obvious answer not being included in the choices?

ha! Nice catch. Definitely I was having a laugh when creating the poll by leaving it out. I'm much more interested in the answers.

I dunno, can we delete the thread?

This is sort of one of those If you meet the buddha on the road-type dilemmas...
