Re: Navionics, iSailor, OpenCPN and What else?

Hopefully not too far off the topic but:
Does anyone know of a recreational marine chart plotter (not iPad, tablet, PC) that can import S63 ENCs? LINZ (NZ Hydrographic) are about to distribute the NZ ENC folio free via a formal distribution system and I will use them on a tablet, laptop etc but keen to know if there is a chart plotter that can import them.

Re: Navionics, iSailor, OpenCPN and What else?

I've got a Raymarine Dragonfly 7 pro plotter that currently has (US south region Navionics+ software) on it, but it's 2017 and needs updating. I'm having trouble going to the Navionics site and renewing the subscription to update the chip. I know I can buy another chip from them, but would rather not wait the shipping time to get another one in the mail.

They also want full price to go that route and it seems logical to me that they could just update the chip I have. I know my chip works with my plotter so if what they send me is wrong, I start from scratch again.

My real question is what other navigation software suppliers would work in my Raymarine Dragonfly? I would consider going to another source of software if updating the chip could be done at home on my computer.

Thanks in advance for any help.
