Re: La Vagabonde's crossing

Does anyone know where we could find video footage of them arriving?
La Vagabond are all about video.
I assume there'll be a lot?

Thanks PatG

There is a live stream on euronews. They are sailing all the way to the marina.

Ha ha , it certainly won’t be you !! Perhaps now that they have landed you can show how much of a man you are and try asking Riley face to face just who he thinks the father of his child is ,,, go on , I dare you , ha ha

Re: La Vagabonde's crossing

Now that the intrepid travelers on La Vega have landed and this great thread's purpose seems to be coming to an end (at least until the post analysis of the crossing comes out in video) here is a link to the US federal government's report on climate change that came out this past Friday: https://nca2018.globalchange.gov/?utm_source=fbia

I'd be interested to know who paid for what.

My ban is up in 1:12 minutes and then I will make sure to ask the mods on sailnet how you were privy to this information and whether it’s in good taste to post this on a competitive forum.
The mods on SailNet have little to be proud of. The "permanently banned" one of the biggest trolls on the Internet no less than three times. Integrity seems to be in short supply.

I disagree, particularly since the cheerleading was somehow okay and those who posted concerns where treated quite differently.

For discussions about a voyage that was fundamentally political to eschew politics was simply not reasonable.

You're going to need footnotes for the "outstanding skipper" part. From the videos I could bear to watch he isn't. They could easily have gotten crew - indeed enough crew to have fully staffed watches but instead brought in a pro skipper. Does that not mean anything to you?

I'm watching them motor. Boats in the background are sailing. The online chat is interesting.

Re: La Vagabonde's crossing

They are tied up!

Curiousness on how the docking was going to go took up a disproportionate amount of my desire to watch the live stream.... Completely boring, straight on docking.
