You should walk the
marinas and yards in some of the places where cruisers bunch up at certain times of year. CQR's and danforths are becoming rarer than hen's teeth. Deltas have a good showing, but bruces are also becoming rare, or secondary.
Like in MarkJ's case, here in the Rio Dulce there have been several people trying to sell CQR's (even 60lb'ers) for pennies at the swap meets. No one wants one.
Walking the docks here, the majority of anchors are rocna/supreme/spade/buegle followed by delta, then bruce. The few boats with cqr's look like they haven't left their slips in many years.
