Maxwell VW10-10 review?

Hey all,

I am looking at installing a new windlass onboard my sailboat.

I will be running 3/8" chain(unsure if I'll have rope aswell yet) with either a 55lb or 65lb mantus anchor.

SV Osprey is 41ft long, 16tons. From my calculations, 350ft of 3/8" chain plus the 65lb anchor indicates I have about 750lb(3x) for a max pull rate. As such I believe being over the ratings is better than "meeting".

I am looking to see if anyone has used the VW10-10 series and if so, would they have chosen this one again, or gone with a different brand such as Muir?

I came across a deal with the VW10-10 which makes it even more worth while to opt for a larger one.
