Manufacturer of Hull Hugr dock fenders?

Hi,
I’d like to find out who manufactures Hull Hugr dock fenders. By searching google, it seems Air Head Sports Group is the parent company. They are uncooperative to my requests for information.

I’m interested to see if they will custom make fenders for a composite dingy I’m building.

My suspicion is that you would need a minimum order of 500, through Alibaba. It would be easier to redesign the dinghy to fit an existing bumper. There are bunchesof stock fender material on the market, such as:

mrybas, I Googled "custom molded closed cell foam and got several US firms that mold or cut the stuff. Might they be a better route to finding what you want?

Yes, I’ll look into that.

Cutting and shaping the foam is the easy part though. Making a professional looking cover is the challenging part.

find a good canvas/upholstery shop. Like anything custom cost $$$

I can sew pretty nice canvas covers to foam I shape. It’s just time consuming as I don’t do canvas work everyday.

My interest in the topic is educational. If I build more boats, I don’t really want to do all of the canvas work.

This may be an off the wall idea but here goes. If your design doesn't require a large diameter then why not wrap and glue split firehose to precast closed cell foam?

Because you don't need high volume production like this in the car industry you can use Fiberglas mould.
