Marinas in North Carolina

We're considering a trip in 2021 spring to a marina with good access to Raleigh, NC to visit kids and Grandkids. We would appreciate any recommendations from forum members. On line searches don't help much, and we value member experience. IP32, 4.5ft draft, maybe two month stay. Thanks

Look in New Bern, NC or Washington, NC. You will be as close as you can get and have a major Hwy access to Raleigh, NC. New Bern is 2 hours from Raleigh and you can easily rent a car in New Bern.

Highly recommend Northwest Creek Marina, great staff, well kept and VERY safe. 10 miles from New Bern.

Second choice is the New Bern Grand marina, newer docks, no experience with the staff and not as well protected but right in town.
