How does the New Posts button relate to an ignore button??

There is an "ignore" feature for a member but I'm not aware of one for an entire thread. Which are you referring to?

Oh, my error. I thought you could ignore a thread. I keep looking for an ignore button but can't find it. Does it ignore just one post or every post from that person?

Hi Janice,

You used to be able to do just that (ignore a thread) but it disappeared when they upgraded the site. Apparently they're working on bringing it back. See this thread:

I know this is may a stupid reply but I'll say it anyway. If its a thread you want to ignore, why not just not look at it? Why won't that work?

If its a member's comments I understand the ignore feature because you may want to read the thread but not the member's comments so you need the ignore button for that person's comments.

Different people look at the forums different. The forum view, the portal, the right hand latest post list. For some of these, having an ignore thread feature means the posts won't show.
