That is pretty impressive, I've got a beneteau 36.7 and I would love to be rid of the 56 inch wheel, Jefa has a canting device but now I see yours is hydraulic, Which might be better for me. How much juice does that draw?

HI James. Im looking at a "CT-48" like yours. I have found Bob Perry's comment that this is not the one he helped with, which is why the sailboatdata site has HIS CT48 on it, but not this one... I am trying to get information on providence.

So is it a Ta Chiao boat? And if so, do you know the designer? So far, best guess is Bruce Bingham.

EDIT: Bruce Bingham has stated categorically it isn't his design, so it must be from CS Chen, the fellow who designed the CT34. I have verified it is indeed Ta Chiao.

    BTW your work looks amazing!

Hi James...Thanks for your advice. That's what I have been getting. I have had a few people close to me who are interested in the boat/trailer package. It would be nice to see her actually in the water. Lou

Hi James, I have a CT 41 and I find myself stuck between a rock and a hard place. She was seized by the Florida Coast Guard over 20 years ago and I acquired her last year. She needs a lot of work and I am not sure it's worth it or I should piece her out. Maybe I am just venting...thanks for listening. Lou

James, Thanks for your post about Rodney's Birthday Party in the Hello From Guam forum. I was stationed at the Commsta form '76 to '79, and was at that party in '78. That was my first experience with sashimi. Years later a lady wrote in the Humor In Uniform feature in Reader's Digest about the quaint way directions were given there and she mentioned the Rodney's Birthday Party sign which I want to believe was on Midpac Dr. Thanks for the memory. I hope to retire there someday
