JD,
Hi. My name is Lou Illiano and I sail in New Jersey. I am in the midst of finding a repower engine for my 28 footer. I am wondering how you made out with the 5444 if at all.
Apparently Universal marketed several diesels as replacements for the Atomic 4. One series was the 5411, 5416, 5430 etc, with the last two digits being the HP. I have a line on a 5411, raw water and a 13.5 HP fresh water cooled Kubota, which is the one I think I want.

Hey John...I left Alaska on the 30th...lots to sort here in Leb. to get the girls school ready paperwork wise....its their first time going to school here and Leb is all about the maximum possible bureaucracy....guess it helps keep everyone employed.
