Hello Yeloya. I plan to sail my boat (a Broadblue 435 catamaran) to Turkey next year. I need to get some work done (rigging replacement and a new stainless steel arch for solar). I will need a marina for an annual contract. Are these things that you can help with?
Hello Yeloya, Is there a broker you recommend to do paperwork for a boat that is flagged australian and going to go to the USA located in southern Turkey? Oh and also any recommended surveyors? Thanks!
Hi, I have a boat in Marmaris for a few months, and I want to get some fiberglass/gel coat work done on it. Do you do that kind of work? Are you interested in taking a look at it? The tricky part is that the deck needs some repair and the area extends into the non-skid. Let me know if you are interested and we can get together so that you can look at it and give a quote. I can also be reached by phone, text, or whatsapp at the number below.
Please can you quote on haul out 23 September 2021 for 2 days.
Boat: 38’ Maxim 380 MkII sailing catamaran
Length overall: 11.9m
Beam: 6.27m
Weight: 5.6ton
I need to do minor repairs and antifouling and will do the work myself.
I will need electricity and water (we have extension lead & hose).
Also need to be able to stay on the boat.
My Name is Iain Henderson I am from NZ but live in Amsterdam currently. My wife and I intend to begin cruising permanently from mid 2022. We are looking for a suitable catamaran and like the Orana 44. I was hoping to get your opinion on the performance, pros and cons of these vessels as I see you have much experience with yachts in general and Orana's in particular. I have been in contact with a few sellers one in Marmaris, which I am interested in but from what I have been told needs alot of work, which I am ok with in terms of I have the time and ability to do this but I am concerned about osmosis. I have owned a yacht with this and fixed it myself but also worry about resale and the scale of the work on a cat.
I am thinking of exporting my sailboat to Turkey from the US of A. It's a 25' folkboat and it will fit in a 40' shipping container. Do you know anyone I can contact regarding arranging unloading of the boat after it arrives in Turkey? The boat would need to be lifted from the container using either a forklift or travel lift once it arrives at a marina. I am thinking of sending it to Istanbul, but any Turkish port would work for me.
A little bit of background: I've lived in Turkey before and speak Turkish, but have no contacts in the boating or shipping industries.
