hello everyone i am new here

hello everyone my name is tammy and I am from connecticut My husband is going to retire from his job this summer and we are moving to florida...my husband i been talking about buying a sail boat and making it our retirement home and sail around the world.....he does allot of traveling being in air force and i company he work for he was allways on the road before we got married......i love to see world myself.....i love ocean i love the beach plus i love to take photos.....i have a great cannon 7d camera with some great lenses to get great pics of what we see and put up a blog about...we have to learn to sail we know that and we might be learning here in ct or down in florida........plus we are talking about 5 years of just sailing around the world in our sail boat.....we are talking and i been looking for use sail boat and we know when time is right for us to get one we need to hire boat surveyor to over the boat....we have talking about the budget we need for living on sail boat as well......and been reading and reading about what it like to live out in the ocean on sail boat....we till have long way to go for sure.....we are hoping to start our sailing time around spring of 2015......

Welcome aboard Tammy, the search feature will be an invaluable aid to you for budgeting, selecting a boat, etc. There are many threads on each and will keep you busy for days!

Aloha and welcome aboard!
It's good to have you here on the forum. Just a suggestion: A couple of sailing classes will get you up to speed very quickly and help you decide which way your enthusiasm will lead you.
