Hello, eh . . . Looking for a New Home

Hi All. I have not been on the water in over 40 years - I grew up in Michigan and the Lakes. The last 40 years have been spent in a high plains desert. Now that I am on the East Coast, near Annapolis it is time to get back on the water.
I was in Annapolis today looking over marinas, where I will be living soon, I realized it was time to admit living in a beehive was not for me. Time to live on the water. And time for Boo to live her life on the water too. She needs to be fitted for her first life preserver. And sailor hat.
I hope to meet many of you some day cruising around.

Boo is Champagne de Margret a Bouzy - my cat. She has an orange nose and lots of champagne colors in her fur; she reminds me of the label of a bottle of a certain champagne. She is truly a furbutt which loves the water.

Re: Hello, eh? Looking For A New Home

Boo must have a good vintage behind her because she has a lot of various colors and textures. Her tail is enormous fluffy, yet most of the rest of her is smooth long hair. And she loves water. She is not Maine Coon, or at least she does not admit to it. But when she stretches out sleeping she is about 36" long tail to forepaw. And she is only 10 months old.

Re: Hello, eh? Looking For A New Home

she looks like mine--a good mix--sounds likemc furrz, also-- soft and smooth shoulders and fluffy tail an shaggyish long fur... beautiful kat.... many around and each one purrtier thsan the last-- they are the largest domestic cat. and oldest known breed of domestic cat in usa. sweet and gentle giants. they will box before using claws and are very very fast. mine lays in water and sleeps in rain----mine is 5 yrs old now. they grwow until 3 yrs of age-- she may be or norwegian forest mix... also big but just slightly less so than maine coon. awesome cats.
