rifle butts make great paddles so make sure you have at least one rifle per crewmember if the engine has been removed

I am truly dismayed that Tortoises are ignored on such a widespread scale.

Yep, bring your" illegal to enter the country with" guns here. We had a mass escape from our high security prison a while back so have some spare room. And yes Atoll, I have verified this with customs and police maritime wing.

Turtles are not Tortoise's, only one of those can swim, the other is I believe an anchor

I had several red eared sliders end up in my pool a few years ago, my small Daughter wanted to keep them, but I knew they couldn't be bought anymore that they carried some kind of disease, not wanting to have my family contact some kind of disease I looked up why they couldn't be sold anymore.
Interesting once they reach a certain size, they can be sold in pet shops etc,
Turns out they carry Salmonella in their digestive tract, apparently a small child would put a small turtle in their mouth, the turtle I guess thinking it was being eaten, would sh** it's pants so to speak and the child would contract Salmonella. I can only assume Salmonella is life threatening to a small child.
Once they get big enough a child can't put one in their mouth, they can be sold.
Sounds like a load of BS doesn't it?

Tortoises are a family of land-dwelling turtles in the order Testudines. Contrary to popular belief, tortoises are in fact turtles rather than part of a separate group

If Testudines are anything like Brass Balls, that would definitely describe Smiley. He wasn't going to let anyone come near the pier while he was occupying it. If only he could be domesticated, I could strap my guns to his shell, have him swim along side, and let Customs harass HIM for a change.
