Come on down to Texas, but give me a couple of weeks to get the boat back on the water.

Re: Disappointed in You All

I, for one, will be glad when the snowbirds all get their boats back in the water. When you folks start spreading varnish it will reduce the number of cabin-fever-driven arguments on this forum about whether it's better to have one or two hulls on a boat.

There's an argument over this? I must have missed that thread

PS - please be aware that I may need some help with rubbing sunscreen on my body when sending me your invite offers. Don't be creeping me on this now as this is serious stuff!

It won't stop raining here in Houston. I spent the last weekend drinking in a leaky cabin -- which is better than not drinking in a leaky cabin.

In my general attitude as Mr. Nice Guy, I've been thinking of Cf Members who would be amenable to rubbing sunscreen on your (largish?) lillywhite bod. I have pretty much eliminated all but two male cruisers, and most of the women too. In my humble opinion:

Astrid would do it cuz she's afraid of nothing. However, I think she's preggers, and she's left-handed. Gorgeous too but enough said.

Anjou could do it, cuz she can do anything. I just don't think she would. However, did you see the butt on that babe???

There's a new lady to me on the forum called _______gal. She's single, has a desirable boat, looks ok. Pm her Don, she could be the one, and she totally understands what "freeloading" is cuz she's divorced. (Don't get my ex started.)

Cat Wrangler: she sends me but she'd draw the line somewhere. And it wouldn't include us.

Saucy is an absolutely sure thing. Another 6" down on that blue top thingy please.

TamiF27 something: of course not.

Zee: My top pick. She's a nurse and can cook and fish. Has a black lacy bra and a way better boat than you do. Jes' sayin.

Come on down to So. Cal! It's been warmer in Boston than LA! Oh, and the retiree on our dock has a spare bunk & said she will do the sunscreen as long as you open it. Her hands are SO arthritic she can't even get her dentures in.

I think she's a woman anyway.

Re: Disappointed in You All

I don't think you want to come to Florida, weather is awful.

It was so cold this morning when I went out to get the paper I thought I might have to put on a shirt and maybe even shoes.

Re: Disappointed in You All

So the marina is changing the launch hours this Monday! That means the season is coming to a close and there is only 1.5 months of sailing left (I look at it as there is STILL 1.5 months of sailing left). But it is going to start getting COLD!

So this is a warning that I'm going to be looking at past responses on this thread and some of you are on the hook.

PS - except for skipmac as I don't think his boat is really ever going to see the ocean again!
