Really is that all you got, for us frozen northerners? I expected more. It was so hot that the margaritas melted between the bar and the table. It was hot the poor girls in string bikinis had to take them off to avoid heat exhaustion.

Try harder next time

Re: Disappointed in You All

I think you would find it too hot to come over here to work on my boat - water temp 26 Deg C & besides its got two bits to it. (Planning to look around in your back yard soon) The boat spends most of the time growing things on the bottom these days & not enough time sailing.

regards Bill

Sorry, it's pouring freezing rain over here. I'll send a little your way to get rid of that 70's stuff.

Hey Buddy,

You know you have a standing invite to freeload on my boat any time. Of course to freeload on the boat would involve cleaning all the tools off the bunk, maybe rebuilding the cabin, finish assembly of the plumbing and install the holding tank to make the cabin livable.

80 degrees here today, more of the same tomorrow, but just lake sailing. Can't wait to get back on the Gulf and warm water.

Re: Disappointed in You All

The boat has been in the water all winter on the Chesapeake, going to putting the sails on Sunday and go for an early shakedown cruise. It may be too cold for you though.

Boy, someplaces it's harder to be a freeloader then others!

Just wanted to express my disappointment in you blessed warm weather sailors. Even though overall it was a very mild winter here (far as winters go) it still was freaking COLD!

How come none of you send me a personal invite to come down and freeload on your boat and provide me a nice catered vacation in the warm sun? I am willing to show you some snow on my end in return.

Wow such an offer -- you would come down here and soak up that sun (on the boat of my boat?) -- and in return I would get to build a snowman. I can't believe I didn't think of that!!!!

Do you REALLY want to know how spectacular it has been here around St. Petersburg? Only three nights with temperatures below 50. THREE. THOSE nights warmed up the next day.

I've made a snowman before. Sorry, Don!

Re: Disappointed in You All

I don't feel some of you understand the definition of freeloading:

"to live off someone else; to eat and drink at someone else's expense; to live off someone else"

please get back to me with serious offers!
