Re: Did Santa give you boat stuff?

Well I got some new anchor chain and an AIS transponder last year. Just today his elves at the boatyard are now telling me that it looks like I will be getting a new mooring (400 or 500) pounds to replace the 300 lb one that allowed my boat travel across the harbor during hurricane Sandy. Of course Santa or someone else may deliver it but, I will have to pay for it.

A second fleece blanket for the V berth. Not so appealing to you tropical sailors, I guess.

Re: Did Santa give you boat stuff?

I am not sure that Santa (wife) intended it to be for the boat, but I hope to get some kinda fancy pants Navigation software for it. The thing runs Windows 8. Anybody have any suggestions?

Re: Did Santa Give you Boat Stuff?

Santa whispered in my wife's ear and said, "Give him a few more years on the ketch before trading it in on the geriatric vessel"!

PayPal has a little flaw in the system that snitches on owners of email addresses.

If you want to know who owns an email address, get on PayPal and send that address a dollar. In a confirmation, before the money is finalized, it shows the email owners first and last name. Then hit cancel and you spent nothing, and have the persons name. As millions of people have PayPal accounts, it has never failed to help me figure out who someone is.
