And consider this: Recently, some CF members tried to organize a raft-up in the San Juans, without success. All those boats, unable to find one another - Newt was even handing out fresh fish to strangers. Had they all had CF burgees snapping in the breeze, they would have had a real chance of finding one another, and the C------F--- that was created by the many vessels milling about the area, unable to locate another CF member might have been avoided.

So, can we buy the burgee yet?

If so, how?

Aqua background, LARGE dark blue letters. Color would gave recognition at 100 yards (min). Comments?

If someone wants to make it look "normal" with a full aqua background, please feel free.

Lil help?

OK, the Aqua slash and backslash outline will not hold the pennant shape, done with spaces and tabs - can someone fix this design = aqua burgee with dark blue "CF"? Thx

Oops!

Never mind my feeble design - I found the burgee as approved. Most imbedded images show up as a box with an X in it - not as good as a box with an ex in it, but that's another story.

I have been meaning to do this for weeks....

Here is the view of the CF burgee actually up, flying in the wind on Bash's beautiful boat, in August!

Here is Andy's shot of it in detail!

Fair warning!

I've been flying my CF burgee for a bit more than a month now, and I feel that people should understand that things change once you cruising the Charlie Foxtrot.

To begin with, women who previously paid me scant attention now find me irresistible. Birds no longer perch in my spreaders, and I've taken up the ukulele. My latest boat project was completed under budget and ahead of schedule. I'm no longer burning through shaft zincs, and commercial fishing vessels no longer cut me off in the channel.

Charlie Foxtrot? This new burgee actually seems to dispel such things.

Really.

Yes, Mods. J'accuse! This is cruel and unusual punishment!

Of course, if it's going to attract women to me, maybe I'll give it a pass!

Oh the humanity of it

I was happy imagining a nice burgee...Now I am overcome with desire for monogram deck shoes and patches and even blazers... I am paralyzed with remorse that perfectly good fish was given to strangers. I have even tried to encourage piratical dock invasions in Sausilito to liberate one (the only one)... I understand the dock is now lined with broken glass and IED's.

My PayPal is ready too.... It would save me dingy fuel cruising around anchorages checking boat names.

Oh, C'mon Bash! Everybody knows there's no wood named Imbuia! You just made that up! I'll bet your new, beautiful table AND that gorgeous pennant both DONT EXSIST! Not that I'm envious or anything...
