Bottom Paint Color. Does it matter?

Since I do need another paint job after only about 13 months, I'm curious. Seems that what I'm using just isn't doing the job. I'm in South Florida moored in the ICW.

Light colors

Dark colors heat up faster and foul

Black is particularly bad

Light colors stay cooler and instantly alert you to fouling ... time to wipe down

Light color could be white or light blue, light green

With many paints you can add a different color anti foul to your white base anti foul


Well a boat is stationary for long periods no antifoul works perfectly
