Not sure why but my notes for acrylic say

Dow Corning 795, product id 28-DC795W
Polyurethane doesn't adhere well to acrylic.

I meant 795 vs the 791 previously recommended

Re: Bonding Acrylic Plexiglass to Powder Coat

I talked to Dow Corning Tech support, about the silicone not bonding well to plexi-glass or Lexan ! The person I talked to said to use Their Dow Corning 1200 os primer, which I ordered, and did ! The silicone will not let go where I used it compared to an untreated spot ! It is pricey, anywhere from 35$=+ to 50ish ! for a pint, but it definitely works ! You just put some on a clean rag, rub on the vertical edge, let dry, then install, and apply silicone!!!! I did new plexi- glass lenses in my hatches !
