Yanmar Injector Pricing

just priced out a new injector for my 1gm10 omg they quoted me, are you ready for this, $320 is this insane or what? what kind of prices are others paying for something like this.

Good thing you don't have an eight banger. Have you taken your injector to a good diesel injector shop to see if it can be worked on?

no not yet but at that price i will be. anyone know of a good diesel injector shop on vancouver island preferably around the nanaimo area

Heh. The hidden cost of Yanmar. Kubota (Beta,Universal,etc) injectors are $60. Available worldwide.

Sounds like whoever is in charge of pricing Yanmar replacements is the same guy who used to work for Volvo. An injector should run about $100 or less. Try Ebay--maybe the small Yanmar tractors use the same injector.

there is a yanmar tractor dealer repair place i know of maybe i will check with them see if the parts are the same

With the number of commercial fishing boats in your area finding a diesel shop
in your area should be no problem.take a walk down the dock where they tie up and ask any of them and I'm sure they will point you in the right direction.

I realize you can't buy it from them due to Yanmar's protected distributor territories, but it certainly is a good price comparison. I'd guess someone quoted you the wrong part.

Reuild Prices around here are about $135.00 for Yanmar....with new copper rings...You should also replace the "gaskets" in the injector hole.

My guy turns them around in about a day.

Local diesel guy here says 3YM30 injectors (probably same as yours) are just common Zxel items at $50 ea. but his boss still wants to charge Yanmar prices !!

I dont have a Yanmar but I am very interested to find out how much an injector is supposed to cost. I have a Isuzu Pisces Diesel engine, I dont know what the HP is, but I have a feeling that I will maybe need some of these things, where is a good place to look for Japanese Diesel engine products?
