Back in the USA

Wow, in less than one month we have moved from South Africa to Texas with many mis-adventures with the airlines. We have bought an American automobile for the first time in ten years and driven it almost 2000 miles. We have seen all but one grandchild. We have bought a Sprint Broadband aircard for our laptop. We have bought a cell phone and we have made an offer to purchase a sailboat.
This retirement is busy busy. We had been retired for two weeks when we took a two week vacation to look at sailboats.
We looked at 5 boats on the short list. One was not nice enough. One was too small for the first mate and one was too expensive. But one was just right.
All we have done is make an offer. I will reveal futher details if the offer is accepted. I will let you all follow the whole process. We are excited and scared at the same time!
What if the seller does not accept our offer? What if she does? What if we can't get insurance? What if we did something wrong?
The main thing was that we forgot our checkbook and had to drive 400 miles to go back and get it! I tell you I am a basket case! Send good thoughts and prayers.
