pirate hello from CT-USA

hello, im a young prospective sailor (23) that just got his first boat (pearson 26' 1973). Im planning on doing a lot of sailing this summer in the sound. Im a carpenter and have totally re-fitted the boat from woodwork to paint, to electrical. Im planning on selling the boat at the end of the season and getting something a bit bigger. and hopefully doing this every couple years till i can get into something 36'-44'. I have only sailed 4 times in my life, but those times we're the best times ive probably ever had. I've sailed from stamford ct around manhattan and up the hudson river twice, once with a friends 54' hunter and the other on my recently aquired pearson 26. Im here for future advice and to possibly meet some other young people to come sailing and hang out this summer around the L.I. sound area. This is a great site and i have been reading a lot since i've got here.

I'm not sure if I'm still considered a "young person" but a hearty welcome to you.
Would love to see some pics of your handy work when you get a chance.

Aloha and Welcome aboard! Photos of your boat would be nice. Not necessary but nice.
Kind regards,
