Need alternative to Pirate flag

There are positive and negative aspects regarding at least the "golden age of piracy". To really understand that period you should read a bit about the War for Spanish Succession and put pirates of that period into historical perspective vs. the major sea powers of the time and THEIR actions.

The swastika was co-opted by the National Socialist (Nazi) political movement, not by the Wehrmacht.


But as the national army, the Wehrmacht, like the Luftwaffe (the airforce) were forced to also adopt it.

Means lots of different things, including potentially being a way of writing Thor, or particularly, his hammer, Mjolnir.

Fascinating that it appears all over the world, yet is virtually synonymous only with Nazism, and their official symbol was cocked at 45 deg, and 'right-pointed', whereas most hitsotic uses of the symbol are 180deg and can be right or left pointed.

You don't have to fly any flag on your boat. Personally, I fly an American flag.

A "Trump" flag would be an option.

I think the whole pirate thing requires a sense of humor. Perhaps there's not enough fiber in your diet...

I really doubt ANYONE flying a pirate flag on their boat indentifies with anything like thieves, rapists or murderers. Water loving free spirits is more like it.
