Key West to Rio Dulce winds

We are planning a passage from Key West to the Rio. We will likely break the trip at Isla Mujeres. I remember seeing historical winds for each month of the year. I thought they were grib files, but I cannot find any on the site. I want to pick the most favorable time of year. Anybody know where I can find that info?

Here is the link to the Atlantic Pilot Charts index of downloads (pdf) from NGA
Maritime Safety Information

Pretty much April thru Nov is the same. Myself I might wait till late Sept to get out of the hurricane season... At any time, you can plan on it being pretty sporty with the prevailing winds blowing against the Caribbean/Yucatan currents.
