Re: ICW "Pirates". Have you Seen?

You are a truly noble soul, but I think you mean "undergrads who were playing rich people."

Re: ICW "Pirates". Have you Seen?

Rich people are more likely to steal....I wonder, how did they manage to determine that as opposed to "thieves are more likely to become rich" ?

There's a long list of high-society names that made their money by being ruthless robber barons, who were thieves long before they got rich from it.

Case of the chicken and the egg, isn't it?

Nope - but only you would look for a Froggie boat in a USCG registery.

People like the aforementioned get theirs. Im a believer in kharma. Most people who steal also trust nobody and their lives basically suck. They cant go back anywhere because somebody will be laying for them.

I love it when I return to a familiar port and people are so happy and glad to see you again.
Often I get welcoming parties and departure parties with tears smiles and till we meet agains.

Now that the words out in the cruising world "here" they have plenty of enemies they havent even met yet. It takes only 1 knowing person to spread the word around the neighborhood.

Re: ICW "Pirates". Have you Seen?

I had a Kharma Gia once, nice little car, if I did good deeds, people would fill up my gas tank for no good reason.

Yeah right, Cap. The reasons were gas, grass, or ass but nobody rides for free.

For me it was a young blond in a red Corvette. Only the one time but the memories have lingered on .... I was pumping gas in Redondo Beach, Ca in high school. When she came in the 3rd time one evening I managed to get past my youthful ineptitude, if ya get my drift.

Her name was "Yeah Baby."

I'll bet CapJT thinks this is a thread drift but that's because he's youthfuller than some of us.
