Here Comes Isaac

Lets pray my dock mates tied up at least as well as we did. Over 12 lines.

13 hours to go until the eye. Wish us luck!

Good luck. One year ago my boat faced the bad side of Hurricane Irene while I was two hundred and fifty miles away:
THE BIANKA LOG BLOG: ONE YEAR AGO
It was a tension filled morning until I got a phone call from fellow sailor who hiked through the flooded roads to check on the mooring field boats. Hoping you have the same good news after Issac passes.

Wow, a giant nylon-spider has caught a Westsail. Good taste, that spider! All the best with the storm!

Re: Here Comes Isaac

All the best! From the video it looks like you have prepared well. The fool beside you will be getting a new suit of sails I predict.
I don't get it, and I've seen it a thousand times, why don't people strip their boats of all windage items?

Cheers

Re: Here Comes Isaac

Almost 23:00 hrs EST. Hope our friends in the gulf region are doing well. Storms and all that mother nature throws at us make me glad to be an American. How does that make sense? When we do face possible struggles, we have a great nation and its people who come to the aid of those in distress. Go USA and may all our peoples be safe!
