"Best reasonable offer". '74 Tartan 30. It does need work and has been for sale for at least a year.

Pick of the litter! Super clean. I like the tiller. Simple as pie. Low hours diesel is great, and the heater is a nice feature. In researching I came across this practical sailor review:

Sounds like my kind of boat.

Not free or close too by a long shot, but I find myself looking at this ad often. I would have updated the cabin layout if I was spending time and money on the refit, but thats me. Sure is pretty to look at!

Same here. Love the look of the older stuff. Check out boats by Fairleigh (sp). Amazing craftsmanship.

Re: FREE, or close to free!

Called, says Islander 29, but they started in 1969.

Also he used an online photo, not of the actual boat.

Rigging not replaced in 11 years, main sail pretty worn, says jib is good, non furler. Needs a bottom paint and teak maintenance of course.

Says hull & deck good, been sailed every year including last season.

john that is an islander 29 there is a whole rich history of the islander and the Columbia lines . Trust me from owning both that is what it is.
It's worth the price and then some .

Re: FREE, or close to free!

My Coronado 30 might qualify? I don't want to pay for 2 slips all winter. Would accept a much lower offer if the buyer could convince me they'd take great care of her...

Transferable moorage in North Lake Union. Great Duck Dodge boat.

Everyone has a camera in their pocket. Absolutely no reason not to have a picture of the actual boat. To me this says "bait and switch".

Love the yanmar. Love the rocna. You chose well. For someone willing to tackle the (relatively minor) deck issue, and the other small jobs listed in the ad, this could be a great opportunity. Aren't there always people posting they want a decent (loaded) boat that just needs a little unskilled labour to complete? Where are they now?

Also, is it the shoal keel model?...that would just make it awesome for heading south.

I actively cruised this boat in the PNW between Seattle and Olympia for the past 4 years, so subsystems were upgraded and tested. Also am a mechanical engineer by trade, plenty of hands-on experience, if that buys any peace of mind for a prospective buyer. Upwards of $12k in upgrades over those last 4 years. Selling this boat because I bought a bigger one.

No, this is the deeper draft lead keel, around 5'6" draft.
