Radioactive Water Spills in Latest Japanese Earthquake

Only a tiny amount fortunately, but having Nuclear plants in major Earthquake zones somehow does not seem that sensible.

Re: Radioactive Water Spills in Latest Japanese Earthquake

The article stated only 14 liters, less than 4 gallons, total was spilled. It made no mention of which radioactives were in that water, so it is virtually impossible to have a meaningful discussion of the spill.

Please remember this is a cruising, sailing and boating forum, and the thread will be closed if political discussion erupts.

And further, secondary containment has kept the spill from entering the environment, just as designed.

Move along folks, nothing to see here...
