Unlike anything I’ve seen on craigslist, smells real...

https://chicago.craigslist.org/chc/b...723593900.html

6k, 46’ LOA (yes 46’), aluminum
“Engine should be good “ (lol)
Still, a life changing boat to be sure.
The direction of that change I’m unsure of.

Wow this could actually be a good project if Al hull isn’t pitted. No soft decks. Yanmar 4JHE is bulletproof and cylinders can be resleeved easily.

What kind of boat is your boat, Thomm? I can't tell from the pics. You're right tho' hull looks to be in good shape... ; )

> Trailer is in very heavy duty and in very Road worthy condition. All lights worth. Trailer is rated for 12,000 lbs and up to a 32' boat. I towed the boat home 500 miles with no issues and an additional 200 miles last year with no issues. I will sell the boat without trailer but I will not sell trailer without boat.*

Says a lot!

I thought you'd be interested …….if you need more info on those kinds of boats go to atomvoyages.com but you probably know that

and read James Baldwins books.

Thomm225 and John61ct - you're killin'me!

Annapolis Triton is listed on craigslist, and simultaneously at auction on eBay. Owner's target price quotes $7,500 - auction is currently at $510 USD.

I saw a similar craigslist or kijiji posting a few months back and, as John says, *will not sell trailer without the boat* is very telling.

However, when one is on the lookout for an Alberg 30, Triton 28 or Bristol 27, ads like this do make a person drool!

As always, caveat emptor!

atomvoyages and James Baldwin, I agree, are stellar resources. As is bluewaterboats.org.

Thanks for pointing this Triton out, Thomm.

Wow, that's right up my alley.

But once I get the trailer to haul it home I'll be too broke 8-(

For a while anyway 8-)

Re: FREE, or close to free!

Does anyone know anything about these boats? I'm not familiar with the brand but I am very intrigued by it. I love its character and feel but don't know anything about it.
