Bahamas pet permit

Has anyone used bahamaspetpermit.com to handle your pet permit with the Bahamas Department of Agriculture? If so, was it helpful/worthwhile?

I used Wellington last year. Worked great. Entirely via email and payment by PayPal.

He first checks over your application to make sure you filled it out right then walks it over to the the Department of Agriculture. Mine took just over a week.

His fee was about the same as doing it myself - which requires buying international money orders and FedXing everything. Then waiting for months hoping it didn't get lost.

There was a thread on that about last week I think. The summation seems to be that those that had were very pleased and there were no negative comments.
Based on that, that is now our plan, because Bahamas paperwork is on island time, if it happens at all.

I've never had any trouble doing it myself. Contact the Bahamas Dep't. of Agriculture and request a permit. Then have your vet fill out the form before leaving home. When you get to south Florida, take your pet to any vet for a quick check and have that vet sign off before crossing. The form says "within 24 hours before entering the Bahamas" but that is not enforced.
