OK thanks for that Terry and my apologies it looks like 387 is the correct figure,
Which translates to about 85AHrs a day. With inverter losses say 93AHrs a day.

1 invest in ref rig extra insulation - very cost effective. (not just foam but anti - IR foil etc)
2 try sterling electronics in the uk, they have some very smart charging products and they and their agents can be very helpful

Here is the latest update with changes made this spring.

I have the same refrigeration units, drawing 13 amps at 120V (this is the draw assuming they are on 100% of the time which they are not). Plus two 120v chargers that are charging each thruster bank each drawing 5 amps at 120v.

I have also reduced the temp on the freezer to 20 degrees which also makes a difference on draw.

I now have the two sterling regulator/chargers from each engine charging my house batteries which are 5 lifeline 8D AGM batteries, 255 ah each for a total of 1275 ah bank.

I have changed my inverter/charger to a Mastervolt 4000 watt and had shunts installed and two masterview screens.

I was running on inverter all day on Thursday, temperature 71 degrees, with 5 hours at dock, engines not running, and 4 hours running at only 1200 rpm.

After 9 hours on inverter, my batteries still had 67% charge. Yeah!, finally, problem solved...
