New FP Lipari 41
As expected, the new FP Lipari is now official. It's called 41 but is actually 39,2 ft, available in master cabin and four cabins version. It is almost identical to Orana as an overall look; hard bimini, two seats helm station, all the winches at the helm station, etc..
Main differences that I could figure out from the pictures:
-master bad is in line with the hull, hence, no protrusion that Orana has under the bridge..
-no sun bath area that Orana has behind the helm station
It will weight 7,6 tons with 603 main + 360 sq feet genoa of sail area. (Be aware with the weight claims of FP, my Orana was supposed to be 8,1 tons and came out 9,8 tons..)
Indicative list price is about 230.000 € + some extras but not including the fancy once, ie. radar, genset,A/C, etc. less some discount, it should come to around 250.000 € min.
I cannot post the pics but I can say that she looks more compact and sexier than Orana.. The plans are to exhibit her in Cannes towards the end of 2009..
That's all I have.. Should you need more info, yr dealer may tell you..
Cheers
Yeloya

She is on show for invt. people in France this weekend.
i have a brochure, and it is looking very good.
11.95m long - 39,2 fet
6,73m Bream -
1.12m draft
7,6 tonns
56 m2 main
33,5 m2 genoa
300 liter Diesel
2 x 265 water
There are much more lockers, inside and outside, floor inside and out is same level.
It has a CST main sail (flat head) and from the pictures it looks like the top is about a meter long. and it has 3 revs in the main, all controlled from steering pos. witch is on Stb side. all winches are there to,
i have still not recived a price from the dealer. look to me that the factory wants to get the old lavezzi sold first, i hope that prices of 230 € is corect, then we will get one.

Is this serious? 3 Tonns overweight for its size and about 80 Euro more than it needs to be.

Link to Lipari pics from earlier post
Here is a link to some Lipari pics from an earlier post on Lavezzis...
Êàòàìàðàíû Fountaine Pajot: Ïàðóñíûé êàòàìàðàí NEW Lipari 41
Looks pretty nice...I chartered an Orana 44 for 5 days on the Chesapeake last October and was impressed with the boat, but a few features were not to my liking...some of them appear to have been changed on the Lipari, looking forward to more feedback!

Hi Daniel,
The report from La Rochelle is all positive with comments " the best boat out of the factory in 15 years" also...
'Higer level of quality in this boat compared to similar sized boats produced from the FP yard in the past.
Head room is 1.95 in most areas. Faster than the Lavezzi 40 and has a much bigger boat feel.
High top / cut main standard. New interior colours, congradulations to the FP yard.'
More photos out soon,if you go to the Aeroyacht.com site you will find more photos.
Regards Gordon.

Forgot to metion.. Lagoon also is about to launch a new 40 fteer. No pictures yet but someone who has been in it was telling that "she was the fastest ever Lagoon.."
If this is true, the basic handicap of Lagoon against FB will be resolved..

Lavezzi values now?
Anyone have any thoughts on what the release of the Lapari will have on prices for Lavezzi's on the market?

HI Gordon,
Is your information coming from Mark or someone else that is there?
Sounds like it is a slightly smaller version of your Orana.
Interesting.
