Dave, thanks. We also need an update on PPA for weather_routiing to version 1.13, there is an openplotter user who found v1.10 fails reading gribs.

Weather_routing: I prefer not to fork and merge the requested PRs. Please have Sean accept the PRs into his repo, and I will rebuild/publish on PPA.

Dave Weatherfax does not install on Ubuntu 18.04 and probably later versions.

Small problem on TEMPLATES.

O 5.0, Linux Mint:

Created a template of my stable setup. (called 11 May 2019)
Changed some connections, and created a template (Called 15 May 2019)

Monitored nmea stream.

Changed (Applied) to 11 May, and no change in nmea stream although expected other USB ports to show up, restart, same. Here is a copy of my Configs.xml

What's not included?
Generally hardware related settings and data that may originate from external sources and varies from one installation to another. The best example of the latter is charts and layers.

Screen-width and OpenGL settings
What charts you have installed.
Chart view specifics. Allows better compatibility between users.
Routes/Waypoints including settings in Options-Ships-Routes/Points
Layers, and layer visibility.
AIS target MMSI cache.
Settings in Options-Plugins
Settings in Options-Connections
Font settings

I have been successfully running version 4.8.2 on windows 10, using the free NOAA charts. I'm heading to the Caribbean so I want to add the oeSENC Caribbean 2019 chart. I could not get the charts to load and after checking the forum, I found that I would need to download an updated version of OpenCPN. I downloaded version 5.0, and I think I followed the procedures faithfully and the procedure seemed successful (see pdf of screen shot). However the added portion of the world added on the screen seemed to be the some of the open Atlantic, east of the Caribbean, and the west coast of northern South America. Also the zoom feature was somewhat erratic. I failed to get satisfactory results troubleshooting on my own. Eventually the program would not open. I decided to uninstall and reinstall version 5.0. Early in the install attempt I get an error message, (see pdf of screen shot). After several unsuccessful attempts, I tried to reinstall 4.8.2 but I get the same error message. I would appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks
