OpenCPN maps for Lake Ontario

I'm new to OpenCPN - just the last few days - and I have been struggling to find maps for the Canadian side of Lake Ontario. I came across OpenSeaMap and it seems to have all the promise of providing what I need. https://downloadlayer--onlinechart-o...s=A1-1&lang=en

But when I load the download into OpenCPN it is only visible at a very large scale. Any scale that would show me the details of a habour, for instance, is completely blurry.

However, when I navigate through OpenSeaMap website, I get much greater resolution at small scale. But I can't see how to download the maps at greater resolution.

Any ideas/pointers?

I made some which you can download from my cloud drive. Just drill down to Canada, I think you have small scale and large scale mixed up, a large scale has a lot of detail which my charts have.

Lake Ontario CHS charts cost only 75 dollars and they are good and up to date.
